The app is empty / doesn't show my photos.
GalleryCurator needs permission to read your Photos library. Open the Settings app → Privacy & Security → Photos → GalleryCurator, and choose Full Access. Then reopen the app.
If I hide a month, are those photos deleted?
No. Hiding (“marking done”) only removes a month from your working view so you can track what you've reviewed. The photos stay in your library untouched. You can unhide any month.
Where do deleted photos go?
Deleting in GalleryCurator moves a photo to your device's system “Recently Deleted” album, just like the Apple Photos app. You can recover it there, and a quick Undo appears right after you delete.
Why is “By City” still counting / scanning?
Locating photos by city reads each photo's location from its own metadata, on-device. For a large library this runs in the background and finishes over time; it can continue while the device is idle and charging.
Does the app use the internet or upload my photos?
No. GalleryCurator works entirely on your device with no network access. Nothing is uploaded.
