GalleryCurator is a photo-curation app that runs entirely on your device. Your privacy is simple to describe because the app is built not to touch your data: it collects nothing, sends nothing, and stores nothing outside your device.
Nothing. GalleryCurator does not collect, transmit, sell, or share any personal information. It has no user accounts, no analytics, no advertising, and no third-party trackers or SDKs.
To do its job, GalleryCurator asks for permission to access your Photos library. It uses this access solely to display and organize your own photos and videos on your device — grouping them by month, by location, and detecting duplicates. Your photos are never uploaded, copied off the device, or sent anywhere. Location information used for the “By City” feature is read from your photos' own metadata, on-device, and is never transmitted.
GalleryCurator does not require or use an internet connection to function, and does not send your data over any network.
When you delete a photo in GalleryCurator, it is moved to your device's system “Recently Deleted” album, exactly as if you deleted it in Apple's Photos app. You can recover it from there. GalleryCurator does not permanently delete your photos on its own.
GalleryCurator stores small amounts of information locally on your device to remember your progress — for example, which months you've marked as reviewed. This never leaves your device. It may be backed up as part of your device's normal Apple backup, under Apple's control, not ours.
GalleryCurator does not collect any data from anyone, including children.
